As 2019 comes to an end, a recent study found that women in the US are starting 1,821 new businesses per day. A whopping 3000% increase from 1972. The consumer space has aided in that number with many of these new businesses starting as DTC online brands that later evolve. Here are 32 female-led consumer brands you need to know.

Founder Lona Williams and CEO Hope Reiners launched MODERNBEAST as a way to create design-forward dog products, while donating 100% of their profits back to animals in need. The product line includes dog toys, accessories and clothing tested by their CDO (Chief Dog Officer), Ernie. Their giving model is unique as they give all of their profits after the cost of doing business to featured 501c3 animal welfare organizations.
